Jambal est un jeune groupe de jazz qui vient de sortir un EP qui va droit au but. Le quatuor fait s'entrechoquer librement ses esquisses mélodiques, ses bribes de composition et ses excellentes grilles d'accords. Sur scène, les musiciens dégagent une fraîcheur et une insouciance rares et, grâce à un jeu sophistiqué, entraînent le public dans un univers musical qui emprunte aussi bien au jazz britannique qu'au jazz ethnique. Indépendamment de leurs influences, ils ont réussi à développer leur son et à trouver le bon tempo.

Jambal is a young jazz band that has just released an EP that gets straight to the point. The quartet lets its melodic sketches, compositional snippets and outstanding chord grids collide freely. On stage, the musicians exude a rare freshness and insouciance, and their sophisticated playing draws the audience into a musical universe that borrows from both British and ethnic jazz. Regardless of their influences, they have managed to develop their sound and find the right tempo.
